Over 12 months of preparation has gone into our next venture as a Club and for the Community and we cannot wait to start!!
From the 7th September and almost 15 years to the day of the Club forming (4th September 2009) we are launching Disability Football Sessions…
Club Founder and Honorary Chairperson Ady Moore said, “This is a huge milestone for Braishfield Bees Youth Football Club. We have spent many months planning and working really hard behind the scenes with Chelsea FC Foundation and Hampshire FA to ensure we continue to widen our reach to the local community through football.
We’re really excited about setting up the disability section and there’s a strong desire within the club to get going. The sessions will be run by Chelsea FC Foundation coaches whom the Club have been an Associate Grassroots Partner for the past 7 years and we cannot thank them enough for their commitment in supporting our initiative.
We are really focused on working with the community and Ganger Farm Sports Park will provide the most up to date fantastic facilities for the sessions, we’d like to thank Ben, Nick and the team along with TVBC in giving their support.
And finally, we want to thank our longstanding Club and home kit sponsor David Wilson Homes who will provide kit and equipment. This will not only ensure all our players look the part but will allow disabled people to have access to all opportunities and feel they truly belong on and off the pitch.”
The sessions will be held on Saturday mornings on the 4G all weather pitch between 8.30am and 10am for both boys and girls ages 8 to 12.
If you are interested in taking part or want to sign up for the sessions; please email footballforallbeesfc@gmail.com and we’ll send details.
