In the Year 2009 this is what happened….
- Swine flu pandemic begins in Mexico with 3 cases hitting the UK. Government set up a website and phoneline for anybody that thinks they have it…it crashed!!!
- David Wilson Homes along with other housebuilders experienced a significant fall in both volume and value of homes sold due to the 2007 global credit crunch
- Chelsea win the FA Cup for the fifth time defeating Everton 2-1
- Barack Obama was sworn in as 44th US President
- Boxer Joe Calzaghe announces his retirement
- Michael Jackson passed away age 50
- And most importantly Braishfield Bees Football Club were founded.
Therefore, after 12 years of our teams being proud to wear the Bees badge we have made a subtle change to it so that we can incorporate the year we were founded, it will be used from the 2022-23 season.
