Bees Badge Change

  • by

In the Year 2009 this is what happened….

  • Swine flu pandemic begins in Mexico with 3 cases hitting the UK. Government set up a website and phoneline for anybody that thinks they have it…it crashed!!!
  • David Wilson Homes along with other housebuilders experienced a significant fall in both volume and value of homes sold due to the 2007 global credit crunch
  • Chelsea win the FA Cup for the fifth time defeating Everton 2-1
  • Barack Obama was sworn in as 44th US President
  • Boxer Joe Calzaghe announces his retirement
  • Michael Jackson passed away age 50
  • And most importantly Braishfield Bees Football Club were founded.

Therefore, after 12 years of our teams being proud to wear the Bees badge we have made a subtle change to it so that we can incorporate the year we were founded, it will be used from the 2022-23 season.

Ady Moore (Honorary Chairman and Club Founder) said:

“I am honoured to have been involved with the Club from the very first ball ever kicked to managing and watching our players wear the badge with pride. This subtle alteration will always show the year we began and in the future show our players as a grassroots club in the heart of the community when we formed.”
